Prof. Buckland offers in person consultations for all initial consultations and most review consultations.

Initial Consult

Initial Consultation $84.15 Medicare rebate
Review Consultation is $200 ($42.30 Medicare rebate).
*Patients should note that their health funds do not contribute to consultation fees.
Prof. Buckland does not see Work Cover or TAC patients, we would however be happy to see you as a private patient.

SURGERY

Prof. Buckland charges out-of-pocket fees for surgical procedures based on recommendations from the Australian Medical Association (AMA).

The out-of-pocket expense varies by procedure, health fund, and coverage level.
Prof. Buckland charges an out-of-pocket for all surgical procedures. The out-of-pocket expense will depend on the procedure to be undertaken, your health fund and the complexity of the surgery. As a result of the rising costs of practice, the 'Gap Scheme' fee schedules do not allow us to provide a practice focused on quality and safety.
Self-funded patients will receive a quote for all costs before surgery.
Informed consent will be obtained from all patients before your procedure.
Payment is required prior to surgery.
